Deck House

The four-story house, designed on a plot parallel to the street, defines the roof space for leisure areas with the best views in the region. The transpassed, open and covered space is an invitation to leisure and is connected to the other floors by a staircase and elevator. On the ground floor, it is possible, through a door in the wooden brise at the back, to go directly to the roof without entering the other floors. The glass composition mimics the reflection of the landscape, while offering views of the entire surroundings from the inside. An inverted L-shaped wooden element evolves from the garage towards the street, with the compositional reason of protecting visitors next to the entrance door. The rationalization of the structure and the few architectural elements are a demonstration of how the verticalization of residences can simplify an essay on lines, shapes and uses.
